Project STARHUNT

Hello !

This is my second Unity game prototype made in order to complete the Unity Junior Programmer's Pathway.

The project aims to implement Object Oriented Principles into an already existing prototype of mine that I had to refactor on my own. So thats the results.

Let me present it to you :

Starhunt is a vertical space shooter arcade game where you control a spaceship defending against waves of incoming alien enemies.

Game Overview :

You control a spaceship in a 2D environment, shooting upwards at enemies approaching from the distance. The game features three distinct enemy types:

• Yellow Enemies - Basic attackers that advance then fire 3-shot bursts from the center
• Orange Enemies - Mid-tier enemies firing homing missiles
• Red Enemies - Boss-like patrol enemies firing powerful slow-moving bullets

You must manage your health, dodge incoming fire, and collect powerups to survive longer and rack up higher scores.

I'd love to get feedback on the game, just to know what you guys think about. And if enough people are interested in the game, I'd gladly update it with more features to make it a complete game !

WINDOWS VIRUS WARNING = If you download the game on windows and it says its a virus, just know that it isn't. You can open it with no risks.

MACOS VIRUS WARNING = For macos, open the game by holding the option key then click "open" still while holding the option key. It should open the game and work.
